Santa Elena hosts a page for Agropecuaria de Caribe SA

Santa Elena courteously welcomes a request from Agropecuaria del Caribe S.A. (ADC), and temporarily hosts this page, to allow efficient access to ADC's communication with the Embassy of the United States in Nicaragua (the appended dossier), the US State Department and with the US Congress.

Summary:

I am a shareholder and former Vice-President of Agropecuaria del Caribe S.A. (ADC), and as such I have authorized the hosting of this page.

ADC is a Private entity, not less than 50 per centum beneficially owned by United States citizens.

ADC owned several plantations, including 'El Cerro Silva' (a total of circa 36,600 acres) situated on the East Coast (Caribbean side) of Nicaragua.

ADC was expropriated 'El Cerro Silva' plantation (circa 23,000 acres) by the Government of Nicaragua in 1999.

as it stands, the Government of Nicaragua owns ADC circa 20 million US dollars due to that expropriation.

In 2010, the Nicaragua Supreme Court ruled that the Government of Nicaragua must pay ADC

However, the current Government of Nicaragua has refused to pay.

The US Citizens owners of ADC - see appended dossier, pdf. link on the right- have sought the aid of the US Embassy in Nicaragua, and seek the help of the US Government, to elicit the payment of this debt by the Government of Nicaragua.
