Summer Waves on the shores of  Santa Elena

Santa Elena is located on the Pacific Northwest of Nicaragua.

The winds of the Pacific Ocean at this point of the Nicaraguan coastline give the shores of Santa Elena real character:

Unlike the peaceful and gentle waves of the Golf of Fonseca, Santa Elena has waves of a more serious matter.

The waves here are usually of a mid-size height; they crash against soft sand, and rumble in a deep tenor voice.

As a Surfer put it "The waves (on this side of the Pacific) are super warm, they are straight-up sick."
